Cast Iron Chips IP287

IP 287 cast iron chips are manufactured per the Energy Institute’s guidelines. These chips were formerly made by Machining Research Incorporated, which was acquired by TechSolve in 2014. TechSolve turned the manufacturing of these chips over to BT Cast Iron Chips in 2024. BT Cast Iron Chips uses the same tools and techniques to produce these chips.

BT Cast Iron Chips are the material of choice for use in conducting the standard test for iron chip corrosion in water-dilutable metalworking fluids. A minimum purchase of 5 bottles is required for all orders outside of the United States (excluding Canada and Mexico).
