The American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) recognizes BT cast iron chips as the material of choice for use in conducting the standard test for iron chip corrosion in water-dilutable metalworking fluids. Our cast iron chips are produced and certified in accordance with industry requirements and procedures as defined by ASTM Grey Iron Class 30.
